While giving Cydney a bath it was time to wash her hair which she always gives a hard time about. It got real which lead to me at one time holding her upside down my her feet while her hair was being rinsed:
“Why you dip me like a chip?”
“That’s my boy. That’s my boy. That’s my boy. What’s his name? Princess Man.”
Me: No more chocolate, Cydney.
Cydney: No deal. Never fear!
“Princess Man! Pick a girl up!”
Me: Cydney put that back!
Cydney: I picked it out for you!
“I got this [dress] so I can wear it to high school.”
My best friend’s son Andrew began to cry when Cydney wouldn’t share a toy with him:
“It’s okay. We can share. Stop crying. Get that out [of here].”
My mother: Is that cake any good?
Me: Probably not.
Cydney: It’s super tasty!
Me: Cydney, put that down.
Cydney: No problemo!
“What the hell is that?!”
(No one says that around here).
While watching ‘The Life of Pi’
My mother: the tiger is d-y-i-n-g.
Cydney: It’s dead.
*HOW did she put that together?*
To my nephew:
“Get off my shoulder, yo!”
